Connor spent more than five years preparing tax returns alongside his financial planning work, and that combination shapes how he plans. He has seen how the numbers on a return connect to the decisions a family makes all year, which keeps his advice practical and grounded in how businesses and households actually run. He works with business owners and their families to build strategies they can carry out, not just admire.
Ask Connor about his favorite part of the job and he will tell you it is the first real conversation with a new client, where their story with money began, and the vision and goals exercise that turns that story into a plan. He believes you cannot chart where a family is going until you understand where they started.

Colorado roots and time outdoors.
Connor grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado and still cheers for the Avalanche, a loyalty he defends nightly during hockey season in Wild country. He came to Minnesota for college and never really left; he met his wife, Whitney, here, and the two of them live in Watertown with their young daughter, Inga.
When he is not in the office you will find him outside, whether that is hunting, camping, canoeing the Boundary Waters, golfing, or playing hockey. Faith is central to the Lantz family, and they are active members of Wooddale Church.
