Luke Aarestad

Financial Planner

Professional

Luke brings a deep passion for financial planning, helping clients turn complex financial goals into clear, achievable strategies. His love for investing took root during childhood trips to the annual Berkshire Hathaway meetings with his father, sparking a lifelong interest in personal finance. Today, that same passion fuels his work at E-Wealth, where he helps to guide individuals with clarity and confidence through each stage of their financial journey.

Before joining E-Wealth, Luke spent five years in consulting, advising businesses on refining their finance and accounting operations and preparing for major transactions. This experience gave him a strong foundation in problem-solving and a firsthand understanding of the challenges businesses face—skills he now uses every day to support our clients.

Looking ahead

“In the next ten years, I see exciting developments both personally and professionally. Hopefully our family will have continued to grow and we will be busy chasing kids around to all of their activities – fingers crossed this includes golf and football! Professionally, I hope to have contributed to the growth of E-Wealth while also expanding my own capabilities, continually finding new and innovative ways to serve our clients.”

Personal

A proud graduate of the University of St. Thomas, Luke holds degrees in Finance and Accounting. His education, paired with real-world experience, laid a strong foundation for his career in financial planning, equipping him with the skills to serve clients effectively and thoughtfully.

When he’s not helping clients build their financial futures, Luke is enjoying life with his wife, Halie, and their young son, Brooks. The Aarestads love traveling—especially to their family cabin in Siren, Wisconsin—trying out new restaurants around the Twin Cities, and cheering on Minnesota sports teams (particularly the Vikings). Luke is also an avid golfer and is working on passing down his passion for the game to his son.
